About the Colorado Turkish Festival
Experience the Vibrant Spirit of Türkiye in Colorado
The Colorado Turkish Festival is an annual celebration that brings the vibrant culture, rich heritage, and warm hospitality of Türkiye to the heart of Colorado. Now in its third year, the festival offers an immersive experience where visitors can explore Turkish cuisine, music, dance, traditional arts, and more through live performances, interactive exhibits, and community activities.
The festival is proudly organized and supported by the Turkish American Cultural Society of Colorado (TACSCO)—501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation dedicated to fostering cultural exchange, building community, and offering support where it’s needed most.
More Than a Festival – A Mission of Compassion
The Colorado Turkish Festival began in 2023 as a direct response to the devastating earthquakes that struck southeastern Türkiye. That year, TACSCO launched a child-focused relief initiative to aid children who lost one or both parents. What started as a one-time effort has grown into an ongoing commitment—and the festival became an annual event with a purpose.
To this day, all proceeds from the sales of the items go toward supporting 48 children affected by the 2023 earthquake. Our goal is to provide long-term care and opportunities for healing, growth, and education.
Our Relief Efforts – Focused on Children
TACSCO continues to support these children through:
Educational scholarships and school fees
Laptops and access to technology
Psychological, social, and emergency health support
We believe that cultural celebration can coexist with meaningful impact. The Colorado Turkish Festival is a space where tradition meets compassion, and where every dance, dish, and display tells a story of resilience and hope.
